Role Overview
We’re hiring a Backend Engineer with 2–3+ years of experience in backend development (fintech/startup background is a plus). This role offers the opportunity to build and scale critical systems powering the financial journeys of thousands of NRIs globally.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and REST APIs using Python (Django).
Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
Ensure backend performance, security, and scalability.
Own and improve database design and performance (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain a smooth customer experience.
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as backend-engineer
Strong command of Python and experience with Django
Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs
Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiar with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of software architecture and system design
Exposure to React Native or frontend technologies (Good to have)
Familiarity with mobile app backend integration. (Good to have)
Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (Good to have)
